Head Football Coach
Surrey High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated head coach to lead our varsity football team as we transition from 11-man to 9-man football for the upcoming season. We are looking for an individual who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field, fostering a competitive and disciplined team culture, and successfully guiding our program through this transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the varsity football program, including practices, games, and offseason activities.
- Develop and implement strategies suited for 9-man football while maximizing player strengths.
- Provide instruction in fundamental football skills, techniques, and game strategies.
- Oversee assistant coaches and build a strong coaching staff.
- Foster an environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development.
- Support student-athletes academically and encourage leadership in the classroom and community.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, school administration, and the community.
- Ensure compliance with North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) rules and school policies.
